Open Position: Field Technician
Field Technician Job Summary:
​
A Field Technician is responsible for complete and timely collection and disposal of dog waste within the designated service areas (both residential and commercial). They must be able to work independently, follow instructions, and use safe work practices.
Location: Birmingham, AL & Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Part-Time; hourly with commission
Job Hours: Typically Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm​
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Use a GPS navigation system to follow predetermined routes to residential and commercial properties

Collect pet waste from residential and commercial properties

Dispose of pet waste in accordance with local laws and regulations

Use safe and approved waste disposal methods
-
Follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Comply with local health and safety regulations
-
Report any issues or irregularities to the appropriate personnel

Interact with customers’ pets as needed
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Ability to use smartphone app software
-
Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
-
Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Ability to understand and follow instructions

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Hardworking, reliable, and responsible

Maintain a professional demeanor as a service technician at all times

Ability to work outdoors

Loves working with animals
